After he graduated with the First Class Honors in his BA of Graphic Design at the prestigious Central Saint Martin School in London, Julien directed a first short film that immediately caught the interest of the very famous Tomato Collective in London.   With them, Julien directed several films for Channel Four and went on to direct many award-winning music video for top French artists. His work caught the eye of the advertising world, beauty and cosmetics brands at first, followed by Budweiser, Nike, Samsung and others.    At the same period, Julien directed his first music videos in France, and he immediately became part of the new young generation of directors; these directors who know how to handle pictures with no limit, mainly through very graphic and visual universe, and definitively with a real talent for storytelling and special effects. Julien is a hands-on type of director, and has always been deeply involved in all the CGI work.   Then Julien decided to re-direct his work to more visually challenging films, mixing human beings and SFX, in order to emphasize and develop his own potential and taste for storytelling and intricate CGI visuals.   When Julien Trousselier is behind the camera there are no limits. Trousselier weaves together special effects, great storytelling and real emotion to create unforgettable moments. Asked to describe his style Trousselier says, “I would say I like technical challenges. I often use complex CG shots to focus on the emotions in a scene. I do my best to achieve a strong narrative and I mix it with special effects to give it the most cinematic look possible. Most importantly I try to capture that magical moment that will make the viewer press play again.”   The last two years got Julien busy on fiction, from being SFX director and supervisor on one Bollywood’s feature “24”, with superstar Suriya in Europe and India. Julien then went on directing three seasons of web series “Crime Time” in Rio de Janeiro, which won several international awards (Fipa in Europe , BAWF in South America Best deirectot, Best Serie, Best Actor , Best DOP) and just got nominated to the Emmy’s award.
